Press Release: Tom Files for State House

Aiken native Tom Young filed as a Republican candidate for State House District 81 on Sunday in Aiken, SC.

Young is running for the State House to share his Plan for Palmetto Progress with Aiken County voters.

He believes that his plan can make Aiken County and South Carolina more competitive in today’s global economy by recruiting jobs, cutting taxes,
reining in wasteful spending, preserving our natural resources, fighting illegal immigration, reducing the cost of health insurance, and building an
education system that provides a trained workforce. Young believes that the ideas and proposals in his plan will reform Columbia and move both
Aiken County and South Carolina forward.

Young will release portions of his Plan for Palmetto Progress later this week.
